Jazz Warriors - Afropeans Album Launch
Courtney launches the Jazz Warriors - Afropeans album with two special shows at Ronnie Scott's in London on May 2nd and 3rd. Unbelieveably this is the first
time Courtney has played Ronnie's and these shows promise to be very special
with another all star Warriors cast presenting the Afropeans set.

Made in England
Earlier this month Courtney travelled to Holy Island to film a special
programme Made in England, you can follow Courtney's journey and hear his
composition inspired by the trip on BBC1 at 10.30pm on April 23rd.

Transition in Tradition
Following a sellout UK tour in February, Courtney will be a performing
number of shows this year with his Transition in Tradtion, tribute to Sidney
Bechet project. For more details click HERE

GCap Media sadly announced the closure of it's digital radio station the Jazz
on February 11th 2008.

Courtney's regular weekly show, The Courtney Pine Xperience, along with all
the other presenter led shows is therefore off air with immediate effect.
The station will continue with a purely music output until it closes in
March.

We hope to bring you news of Courtney's other activity on radio soon with
more from Jazz Crusade for BBC Radio 2.
